Takoyaki is a ball-shaped Japanese snack that is made of a wheat flour-based batter and cooked in a specialized takoyaki pan. Inside it is filled with chopped octopus and vegetables and on top it is brushed with takoyaki sauce. This is my daughter’s favorite food. She calls them Octopus Balls. Gindaco, a fast food chain takoyaki restaurant, serves crunchy, fresh baked takoyaki for a very reasonable price.
Traditional Takoyaki with a drink is 550 yen.
For a limited time only, this takoyaki comes with a sour plum and radish dipping sauce. With a drink it is 600 yen in total.
