Ibasen is a store that has been making and selling fans since 1590.   People in Edo (now called Tokyo) needed fans to survive the hot summer heat for decades.  Ibasen created beautiful fans to buy.  The fans that open and close was invented in Japan.  It was then introduced to Spain by a Spanish visitor back then.  Behind the store, there is a little museum dedicated to Japanese fans in the hallway.
