Spring onions are soft and sweet. They will become a tasty, sweet, juicy dish when you cook them in the oven.
I would like to introduce you to an easy and delicious dish called baked spring onions.
First, you cut each onion in half and remove the center to make a hole. The center part you have taken out can be used as a filling by chopping them up with any other left over vegetables.
Saute the fillings in a pan with olive oil. Add a dash of salt, pepper and a spoonful of miso paste.
Add the filling to the hole of each onion and drizzle with olive oil and put them in a oven. To keep the moisture of the onion, cover them with aluminium foil paper and bake for 30 minutes. Then take the cover off and bake for a further 10 minutes.
