In the Spring time, soramame fata beans are one of the favorite vegetables in Japan and you can enjoy it in a variety of dishes. Hijiki is a seaweed that is very high in calcium. You can purchase it dried and then soak it in water for 30 minutes before cooking. Historically, pregnant women would consume Hijiki in Japan, this is probably because of it’s nutrition.
I used soramame and hijiki to make a pizza and it was delicious.
