Inokashira Park in June

Throughout the year, Inokashira Park has a lot to offer to the residents of Kichijyochi.  Musicians, pantomimers, actors and balloon artists entertain the kids for free.  Artists sell their arts and crafts. Families enjoy rowing boats on the lake, petting animals at the zoo, hiking, running, bicycling and picnics.  I see people taking pictures, painting pictures, eating ice cream, chatting at the cafes, reading books, working as volunteers, walking dogs and so on.  On the way to the park, there are many restaurants, bars, shops and ice cream stands.  There is always a long line to the yakitori restaurant.  The food must be good there.  This local, public park is a nice retreat for people on holiday.
