Walking around North Kamakura

Many tourists come visit Kamakura to enjoy the temples, shrines, great buddha, restaurants, beaches and shopping streets.  Around Kamakura station it is pretty commercialised. Before Kamarkura station is Kita Kamakura station, which is a small wooden station surrounded by trees and a river creek.  If you have the time, get off the train here and walk around.  It is a lovely little town with beautiful landscapes.  Other than temples, you will enjoy cozy cafes, vegetarian restaurants, antique shops and alleys to walk around.
