Matcha tea in Enkakuji Temple

The Enkakuji Temple in North Kamakura was built in 1282. It has different temples, gates, a bell, Japanese gardens, a pond, a zen meditation place and more on the premises. The admission fee to enter the Enkakuji Temple is 300 yen.

One of the temples on the premises is called Futsunichi-an and they offer a cup of matcha tea with little sweets if you choose to pay 500 yen instead of 100 yen to enter.

You receive a wooden ticket for your tea.  You just have to wait for your tea on a tray to arrive and hand this ticket to the temple personnel.
