One of the green tea study classes I like is in Higashiya, which one of the green tea cafes in Ginza offers periodically. I like it because it comes with a delicious and healthy dinner after the class. I also enjoy the tranquility of the cafe and the souvenir shop is like a museum shop. Today, we studied different kinds of roasted green tea (brown tea) from different tea plants in the western area of Japan. We had a rice dish cooked in brown tea which was produced in Shikoku island for dinner afterwards. The dessert was a sweet mochi wrapped in a salted sakura leaf. It was delicious.
