Peco-chan Cafe

Peco-chan sweets have been a favorite of mine ever since I was small.  Fujiya restaurant is a place where I always feel at home.  My brother and I were often nicknamed as Peco-chan and Poco-chan when we were little.  Peco-chan is the girl and Poco-chan is the boy.  My childhood trauma of being resembled to Peco-chan still exists, and I feel like I still have big cheeks even today.  My daughter and son were also nicknamed Peco-chan and Poco-chan when they were little. It must run in my family.  As always, I ordered the flan, “Pudding a la Mode”.  You can find Fujiya in both Ginza and Shibuya.

  1. Peco-chan is so cute, there’s nothing to be traumatized about!
